Just starting to block out the forms.
I wanted to take some shots to show the progression.
More to come.

Megalith update

The body has been baked.
Now I can finish the arms and head.
This is where it really gets fun.
I can't wait to slap some clay on that mug!

The Wrecker

Just finished the leader of the Wrecking Crew a few days ago.
Enjoy.

Here's a little update to Megalith.
I separated his arms. Really buttoned down the anatomy.
The suit areas have been freshly raked. Just need to finish off the lower legs and he'll be ready for a little alcohol bath.

Sinestro

Just had to sculpt him after I did Hal. I debated about putting him in his Sinestro Corps costume but ultimately decided to go with his original, show accurate costume instead.
I still may do a second version down the line.

Hal Jordan

Once again, another JLU sculpt. This time it's Green Lantern Hal Jordan. I always start out trying to take more progress pics but then get so engrossed in the sculpting process that by the time I remember to I've gone way to far.

Just a quick update.
Monsterpalooza is a show in April that I will be a part of. The focus of the show is "the Art of Monsters" so stop by if you get the chance. There will be a lot of cool things to see and buy there.

Happy New Year!

Wow. I can't believe it's 2010. Very exciting.
Here is where Megalith is at right now and will probably remain for the near future as I am again swamped with projects. Wishing everyone a safe and productive New Year.

Happy holidays

It's starting to get fun at this point as the forms
start to take shape.

After I built the armature, I got so swamped with work that it just sat on my shelf and the next thing I knew 5 years had come and gone. I finally got a break earlier this year and what did I do? Yeah. Couldn't help myself. So here it is five years later, the project is alive and kicking.
